Lord & Taylor To Host Exclusive Launch Event For Ivanka Trump Ready-To-Wear Collection
March 21, 2012 – NEW YORK, NY – Lord & Taylor will host the first-ever Ivanka Trump Spring 2012 Ready-To-Wear fashion show at 6pm on Wednesday, March 28th at its Fifth Avenue flagship. The show marks the exclusive launch event of the brand, showcasing the line’s breadth of contemporary product at a compelling price point, and will also feature her shoe, handbag, jewelry and outerwear collections. The collection will be available at 22 Lord & Taylor stores and on lordandtaylor.com.

The show is comprised of 37 looks that highlight three main stories including a black and orange group, a tan and fuschia compilation and will end with a navy and white assortment. Hair and makeup will be provided by Frederic Fekkai and Laura Mercier, respectively. Models from Trump Model Management.
Following the show, Trump will make a personal appearance in a specially curated “World of Ivanka” shop created for the evening, bringing together all merchandise categories. Customers can meet Trump and receive a signed sketch with any purchase of her sportswear, shoes, handbags, fine jewelry or outerwear. Ten percent of sales from the Ivanka Trump Collection during the evening will benefit the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign, of which Ivanka Trump Jewelry is a founding partner.
