Saks Fifth Avenue Unveils 10022-SHOE Greenwich, First Standalone Store Dedicated Solely to Shoes

10022-SHOE Greenwich is the first of three new specialty stores to open as part of  The Saks Shops Greenwich

[Greenwich, CT – Oct. 20, 2016] Saks Fifth Avenue today is proud to announce the opening of its first store dedicated solely to shoes—10022-SHOE Greenwich. The new 14,000 square-foot shop, located in the heart of town, offers women’s footwear with a strong focus on emerging and advanced designers.

The 10022-SHOE shop is the first of several planned specialty stores and a renovation in the town of Greenwich—all part of its new Greenwich ecosystem: The Saks Shops Greenwich. Saks will unveil “The Collective” for modern designer fashion in February 2017, “The Vault” for high and fine jewelry in May 2017, and a renovation of The Main store later next year.

“Saks has been a part of the Greenwich community for 20 years, and the market is integral to our evolution and growth strategy. 10022-SHOE Greenwich marks a new visionary concept for the brand,” stated Marc Metrick, president, Saks Fifth Avenue. “Moving key categories—shoes, jewelry, contemporary ready-to-wear—to their own specialty shops brings the luxury boutique experience to the next level. As we open 10022-SHOE, we further cement Saks as the destination for style and luxury in Greenwich.”

10022-SHOE Greenwich offers a curated collection of designer brands and silhouettes. The shop carries sought-after designer collections Aquazzura, Manolo Blahnik, CHANEL, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Gianvito Rossi, and Valentino, among others, alongside emerging brands such as Paul Andrew, Tabitha Simmons, and Nicholas Kirkwood. Customers will find a robust assortment of styles—stilettos, sneakers, sandals, boots and more—establishing Saks’ first specialty store as a one-stop shop for all women’s footwear needs in Greenwich.

Saks at Your Service provides customers the best-in-class service our customers have come to expect. Personal styling services are available by appointment or upon request. The Saks at Your Service Mercedes-Benz sprinter—the ultimate mobile shopping experience—serves the market, and brings the best of Saks personal styling directly to a customer’s home or office. In addition, Saks Shops at Greenwich offers complimentary delivery via “The Saks Shops Express” within town and in select surrounding areas.

10022-SHOE Greenwich, designed by the Saks Store Planning & Design team in collaboration with FRCH, features the use of raw and industrial elements juxtaposed with natural light and a delicate color palette. A large-scale, glass ceiling sculpture, accented by natural light, anchors the renovated, mid-century space, and is complemented by white finishes, exposed brick and oak wood flooring.

10022-SHOE Greenwich is located at 20 East Elm Street, around the corner from the store’s original Greenwich Avenue location.
