Hudson’s Bay Company commits $50,000 for Alberta flood relief; Launches Donate your Rewards Points campaign
HBC Extends its Long-Standing “Donate Your HBC Rewards Points” Program to Help Canadians in Need
TORONTO, June 27, 2013 - Hudson’s Bay Company announced today a “Donate your HBC Rewards Points” campaign in support of flood relief efforts in Alberta — a tragedy that has impacted thousands of people in multiple communities in southern Alberta, including Calgary. From now until July 15, 2013, customers and Associates can support those affected by donating their HBC Rewards points in Hudson’s Bay and Home Outfitters stores across Canada. Customers can also make a donation online through www.hbcrewards.com by clicking on the “Donate to Charity/Community” link. In addition to funds raised through this program, Hudson’s Bay Company will contribute directly to the cause for a total donation of $50,000.
